Paralyzed Woman Honors Memory of her Best Friend

Stevie Beale was a high school senior and athlete with a bright future, until a horrible car accident changed everything. The car Stevie and her friends were riding in hit a tree at 75 mph. Stevie sustained life threatening injuries including a spinal cord injury and her best friend Charlie died in the accident. With the help of the DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, Stevie has made remarkable strides and has come farther than she ever imagined possible. She recently graduated from college with a psych degree and says her future is once again looking bright.
